So, while summer is all about celebrating, it’s also about spending, and B2B companies would be silly to not capitalize on that trend.

With that being said, let’s take a look at some excellent summertime email campaigns and see what it is that makes them sizzle.

One Kings Lane

One Kings Lane does an exceptional job at not only setting the summer vibe with its imagery; it also is taking advantage of the “need to spend” aspect we just talked about. The brand is a well-known luxury furniture and home décor outlet, and they do a fantastic job of sending out those summertime vibes by using the poolside imagery. Their message clearly reads out with the cold, in with the summertime vibes! So let’s take that 20% off and hit the store to update our home decor.

Rip Curl

Rip Curl does an amazing job setting the summertime vibe with their imagery as well. They also make great use of their copy with terms like “bombshell” often used during the summer months to describe attractive women with outstanding personalities. Even their brand name “Rip Curl,” makes readers think of the ocean and its rip tides and curling waves—which they include in surfing imagery that screams “summertime adventure.”
