Born Again Email Marketing

"Couldn't be better," is my standard reply.

The reactions are varied but can be summarized by the word 'surprised'.

The assumption is generally based on the premise that the volume of email and spam people receive is out of control. And much of it is not being read.  So why would companies hire Delivra to send even more email?

It's with this background that I quote Chris Brogan's recent article 'Rethink Your Email Marketing'.

In it he states that, "A recent survey reported that over 93 percent of people have an opt-in daily contact with a brand via email. It also said only 15 percent of Facebook users and 5 percent of Twitter users have a similar relationship. That's one of many reasons to rethink your use of email marketing."

The take away is that branding and offers, like it or not, are email-based. Therefore, you better get it right. Chris' article has some timely advice for improving performance.
