My name is Cody Sharp and I am the new Inbound Marketing Manager at Delivra.  My job is to help as many companies as possible find out about Delivra’s incredible email software via the web.  And while I basically try to find leads for sales guys (when you get down to brass tacks), I also fill in wherever else I can.  Upon joining, I found out  I am not the only person working at Delivra who does that, in fact, everyone else I work with does as well.  It’s refreshing.

Usually I write with quite a bit of sarcasm/cynicism, but today I’m going to turn it all around and write about the joy of working at a company that truly cares about its email marketing clients.  Well, at least I would if I wasn’t in the marketing department.  If I write about how awesome Delivra is and include quotes from clients across the board, like the one we just got today from client, the Indianapolis Zoo, I would sound like I was doing a sales pitch.  And Delivra, without exception, really doesn’t need a sales pitch.

Upon joining Delivra two months ago, I found a group of people enjoyable to work with and a product worth marketing.  I found our clients loved us and so did the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.  I found that despite having no debt, we were one of the fastest growing companies in the USA according to Inc. Magazine.  The cynic in some of you sees what I am doing here – I’m marketing, without marketing.  But honestly, I can’t help it.  The fact is Delivra has amazing clients, people, and software and instead of being forced to shout it from the rooftops, other people do.  It feels incredible to be part of the team.
